David Hail
David Hail has more than 20 years experience in the mortgage lending, real estate and home building industries. He wrote the "FHA No Brainer" loan origination software and developed loan origination software for both the USDA 502 Guaranteed Housing and 502 Direct/Leverage Rural Development loan programs. He has also authored procedure and training manuals for both FHA and Rural Development financing programs as well as loan origination and processing guidelines.
David is a Vice President of Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation, the largest privately held mortgage banker/mortgage broker in the United States with over 650 offices in 50 states doing over a billion dollars a month in closed and funded loans.
David's primary responsibility is mortgage professional/loan officer development and training. He is a recognized expert and trainer on both FHA and USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Housing loan programs and is an FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) and Rural Development underwriter. His FHA and Rural Development classes are approved for continuing education credit in a number of states including TX, NC, SC, OH, PA and UT, however his classes are taught all over the United States.
Prior to joining AHMCC, David was a branch manager of Ameritex Residential Mortgage from 1994 to 1996. His career in mortgage lending started in 1982 with Investors Residential Mortgage in Midland, Texas and spans over 23 years. David is a Texas licensed Real Estate Broker and member of both the National Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors and holds a GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) designation. He is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and National Home Builders Association.
David holds a BS in finance from Ball State University.
